Grodno is the town of castles and palaces

In 1376 Grand Duke Vitovt made Grodno the capital of the Grand Lithuanian Duchy. The town retained this status in the time of Rzeczpospolita, being the capital of the state along with Warsaw and Vilnya. THE CASTLE HILL
